Update 8 - Last Update Hurricane Milton – Late Monday Morning, Oct 14, 2024

Hurricane Milton is gone and the tropics are quiet again …

… we all hope this will continue for the next months, even better, years. Here is our last update on Hurricane Milton on Monday morning, Oct 14, 2024.

We updated our website and if Seabim homes still have damages from Milton we left a note on the website. You will see the note when opening the listing website of the house you are interested in. Generally speaking, there were almost no damages inside and outside and no flooding.

Almost all homes have power and internet again. If not yet, we are pretty sure both will come back shortly.

Most shops and restaurants are open. Guests are back at their vacation homes and new guests will arrive the next days and weeks.

Outages: Less than 300 outages are currently reported on the LCEC website.

We do not see any or only minimal restrictions for guests arriving from now on.

We are glad that the damages in Cape Coral were only minimal, however, it was a very tough week for our team and there is still a lot of work that needs be done the next days and weeks. We think of all the businesses, owners and vacationers further up north who are facing a really hard time not only at the moment but also the upcoming months. We know what you are going through.

Thanks to the Seabim owners and vacationers for their patience during the last days. We know how hard it is not getting any information immediately. The Seabim team is not perfect but we tried our best to help all of you as best as we could.

If you have any suggestions how we can improve our services please let us know by email.

Please contact us BY EMAIL (through our website) if you have any further questions.
